By starting a chapter of the First Church of Atheism (Here unto referred to as the FCA) you agree to the following terms and conditions.


1. Your chapter is granted at the discretion of the FCA.

We reserve the right to revoke your chapter at any time without need for cause or reason. We reserve the right to alter the terms and conditions required to continue to be a chapter of the FCA.


2. You are required to act in the best interest of the FCA.

You must act in the best interest of the FCA and your chapter, its members, etc. in all official matters.


3. No illegal or malicious activity.

You may not at any time engage in any illegal activities relating to the FCA, your chapter, its members. You may not use your chapter for spamming or other similar behavior. If you have knowledge of any illegal activities you are required to report them to the FCA and proper legal authorities.


4. You represent your local chapter.

You are authorized only to make statements and decisions relating to your chapter. You may not represent the FCA as a whole, or another chapter without written consent.


5. You must maintain a physical mailing address and contact info.

You are required to maintain an physical address which you may be reached at. The address DOES NOT have to be a place accessible to the public. A P.O. Box is acceptable. You are required to maintain contact information and to provide any and all contact information for your chapter to the FCA. You are required to keep this information up to date with the FCA.


6. You must work towards helping your community.

You must use your chapter as a community resource for your local atheists. Strive to offer diverse services that help teach and grow people with a focus on science. Try to become a place where atheists can come in a time of need and find a community eager to help.


7. Taxes, legal, etc. liabilities are your responsibility.

The FCA is not currently a tax exempt organization. You are required to understand and follow all local, state, federal, and international laws pertaining to your tax liabilities. You agree not to hold the FCA, it’s members or directors responsible for any legal liabilities civil, criminal or otherwise; any tax liabilities, or in any other matters not stated.
